Not a Sun Time (Movie Review of An Inconvenient Truth)
by Justin Murdock
When I first saw the documentary An Inconvenient Truth, my eyes were big as plates because of the levels of CO2 estimated in about 50 years. They were literally off the charts! I did not know how the power of greenhouse gases could possibly affect the environment and the Earth overall.
Al Gore has made an important point to his audience to convey his point about global warming. The amount of ice is decreasing immensely and turning into water, and the water is evaporating.. This is obviously because of global warming. Al Gore said that we only have one planet, and it’s not like we can find another.
Many horrible disasters may be the result of climate change. Take Hurricane Katrina for instance. Climate change may have made a lot of tornados and hurricanes occur throughout 2004-2005. Many countries have experienced global warming. In India, and many other Asian countries. There are many cracks in the floor because of the drought and also many people are waiting long hours for a drip of water! We are very lucky that in the United States of America that we have a reliable water supply. However, the Earth doesn’t have the United States all over it. |
This movie encourages all to try their best to stop climate change and global warming. This could be an example of the butterfly effect, as one thing leads to another in the Earth’s ecosystem. We only have one Earth, so we should save it.
