INTERVIEW
By: Xin, Ayman, Lea
Teacher Name: Mrs. Marks
Xin: What made you feel or pushed you to adopt them? What were the influences?
Mrs. Marks: Mr. Cayea put up a sign asking if any of the teachers wanted this dog because he was a stray and a runaway. I called my husband to see if we could get this pet even though another teacher wanted it. I felt that I had a great backyard and could take care of this pet.
Lea: What breed of dog or cat do you have?
Mrs. Marks: I have a Jack Russell Terrier.
Ayman: What helps your bond with your pet?
Mrs. Marks: When I ask to go for a walk he knows to grab his own leash. When I ask to go for a drive she would hop into the car herself. Sometimes at night when i say “bedtime maxie” he would hop in to bed with me and sleep.
Xin: Do your kids/relatives like the pet?
Mrs. Marks: Yes my kids and my relatives all love Maxie.
Lea: Do they bond with it?
Mrs. Marks: Yes, Maxie gets a lot of attention from them.
Ayman: Do they play with it?
Mrs. Marks: Yes. They enjoy playing with Maxie and they would spend lots of time with her.
Xin: Do you consider yourself to treat this animal well?
Mrs. Marks: I do treat her well. I feed her twice a day and buy her treats and toys. Sometimes, my kids get jealous.
