Interview with Mrs. Clyne-Davis
Xin: What made you feel or pushed you to adopt them? What were the influences?
Mrs. Davis: I have never not had a pet since I was seven years old. I have a lot of cats that I got from the City shelter and while they were in risk of getting euthanized and it's the greatest feeling that you had saved the pet. The rewards are getting unconditional love.
Lea: What breed of dog or cat do you have?
Mrs. Davis: Three orange boy cats, a tuxedo (black and white), a tortoise shell (brown and black) Black and White cat, fostering a calico and starfish (Bridget)
Ayman: What helps your bond with your pet?
Mrs. Davis: You just get unconditional love. They are always there for you and they are cuddly and loving. The cats are always hungry. They are always there but they always seem to be looking for food. Lots of toys. They love food even more than they love me. I would urge anyone who is looking for a furry friend to go to a shelter.
Xin: Do your kids/relatives like the pet?
Mrs. Davis: Yes, very friendly when people come over, sometimes too friendly, when there’s food especially. They don’t bite and scratch very nice, 1 or 2 hide most like to hang around people
Lea: Do they bond with it?
Mrs. Davis: everybody bonds and they brighten everyones day. Danny would roll around and he's nice to everyone and all the cats are easy to get along with. Most of all they like to eat and get petted.
Ayman: Do they play with it?
Mrs. Davis: Everyone plays with them.
Xin: Do you consider yourself to treat this animal well?
Mrs. Davis: I believe that my pets are being treated like kings and queens, I’m their servant. Nothing else in the world.
